1. The owner of the dog indemnifies the RSPCA and the City of Hobart for any damage, injury or loss caused to any property, person or animal arising from or in any way connected to the use of the dog minding service by the owner.

2. The RSPCA reserves the absolute rights to refuse the dog minding service to any person.

3. The dog(s) must be currently registered with a municipal council.

4. The dog must have a suitable collar or harness attached.

5. The owner must supply a suitable leash or lead with which to appropriately restrain the dog (RSPCA may supply these for the duration of Puppy Parking Service)

6. The owner must retrieve the dog(s) within a 2- hour period after depositing the dog(s) (“service period”)

7. The RSPCA may contact the owner of the dog at any time requesting that the dog be retrieved within 10 minutes of making the request.

8. If the dog is not retrieved within the service period or after the 10 minutes following a request to retrieve the dog, the City of Hobart will take possession of the dog and impound the dog in accordance with standard Council procedure.

9. If the dog is impounded following a failure to adhere to the Terms & Conditions, the owner must retrieve the dog from the City of Hobart’s designated pound service provider at the owners cost and comply with any release requirements.

10. The owner is liable for all costs associated with the retrieval of a dog from the City of Hobart’s designated pound service provider including, but not limited to:

   a. Impounding and release fees.

   b. Registration or microchipping fees.

   c. Medical expenses.

I, the owner of the dog(s), agree and confirm that:

1. I have read, understood and agree to the terms & conditions.

2. I understand that if I do not collect my dog within the service period or within 10 minutes of the making of the request to collect my dog that my dog will be impounded, and I will be liable for any fees and requirements associated with its retrieval.

3. The dog is currently registered, up-to-date with its vaccinations, de-sexed and able to be contained.

4. I agree to remain in the Salamanca Market precinct at all times while my dog is with the RSPCA Puppy Parking Service.

5. I agree to the dog being given dog treats.
