On 5 July 2019 a Bridgewater man pleaded guilty to 4 charges under the Animal Welfare (Dog) Regulations.  The matter related to a matter in Hadspen in June 2018 when he left a dog locked in a shed for a number of days.  A man has a conviction against his name and was fined $250.  RSPCA were awarded $954 costs.

This conviction was the first under the Aninal Welfare (Dog) Regulations 2016.
