This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our high profile and iconic organisation.

Following the launch of the RSPCA Tasmania’s strategic plan for 2023-2026, we have designed this CEO position working to work alongside our new Chief Advocacy Officer, Jan Davis.

You will lead our state-wide organisation and be supported by a Board that will embrace your ideas and value your contribution.

You will be responsible for the organisation including the financial profitably and revenue generation, team leadership and the execution of the strategic plan.

This is a hands-on role; you will be an exceptional communicator with proven business acumen and you will possess a passion for and commitment to the philosophy of RSPCA.

Our successful candidate will have proven management experience with a record of successfully leading an organisation with a strong mission.

Non-Executive Board Director (Voluntary)

RSPCA Tasmania is a non-government, community-based, not-for-profit organisation. We are Tasmania’s best-known and most respected animal welfare organisation.

We are committed to ‘helping animals in most need, enlightening people, and changing lives’.

We do this through activities that protect, educate, and advocate. Our strategic direction helps set clear expectations for all our staff and volunteers.

The role of the Board of RSPCA (Tasmania) is to govern and direct the organisation in accordance with our purpose.

This volunteer Director role will bring financial and accounting expertise to the Board. Ideally, the successful candidate is also required to possess a governance qualification.
