Pet Boarding At RSPCA Devonport

Devonport Shelter

Our Devonport shelter offers boarding and accommodation for both cats and dogs.

All dogs must have a current C5 vaccination, and cats must have a current F3 vaccination, administered at least 7-10 days prior to boarding. We are unable to accept any pets that do not have current vaccination records, so please bring the records with you when you check your pet in. If you are unable to find your records, please provide us with the name of your vet which may help us to determine if vaccinations are up-to-date.

At busy times our kennels and cattery become fully booked very quickly, so please book well in advance of school and public holidays by calling 6427 2566.

Please note, that we would rather that your cat´s maximum stay is one consecutive month, please call and have a chat to us if you are planning to be away for a longer time.

Accommodation:

The individual dog barding kennels all have underfloor heating to keep you friends warm in colder weather. Each pen has an solid interior walled area with a wire run attached. We also have two separate kennel areas to allow us to separate the larger and smaller dogs. The dogs are walked daily and we have several large outdoor runs for our boarding friends.

The cattery offers individual and separate accommodation for each guest, completely enclosed and sheltered from the elements. Each pen is constructed in a combintion mesh and a solid partition to enhance the sense of security and also allow kitty to indulge his or her sense of curiosity should they so desire.

Every pen has a window to provide an alternative view of the world and a little extra exercise. The facility is heated to ensure maximaum comfort for our feline friends. You are encouraged to bring your pet's favourite things with them to make them feel more at home, but we do provide toys, beds, bedding and scratching posts in all pens.

You, or your family are also encouraged to visit your pets if you are able, especially if they are staying with us for extended periods.

Prices:

Prices are per night and fully-inclusive (food, bedding etc).

RSPCA Members receive a 10% discount on the cost of boarding with us.
Discounts may also be available for stays longer than three weeks, or for multiple pets boarding with us.
