Help us help Tasmanian animals by joining RSPCA Tasmania at a glamorous fundraising event at Government House on Wednesday March 29th at 5:30pm.
Tasmania's Government House is today regarded as one of the best Vice-Regal residences in the Commonwealth. Designed by colonial architect William Porden Kay, it is a fine example of an early Victorian country house in neo-Gothic style and is one of the largest of its type in Australia.
The iconic ballroom will be the main venue for the Governor’s Celebration, with its Huon pine floors and intricate vaulted ceiling. Guests can wander through the adjoining Conservatory and Drawing rooms at their leisure.
During this prestigious 90-minute event, guests will experience a formal address from Her Excellency Professor The Honorable Kate Warner, and live music from Hobart locals, Yesterday’s Gentlemen.
Tasmanian food and beverages will be served throughout the evening, and a live auction and exclusive raffle will take place.
Wander the grounds and meet some of RSPCA Tasmania’s adoption animals while taking in the scenic environment of one of the finest private gardens from the Victorian era that exist in Australia.
Places are limited for this special event, so purchase your tickets today, and help us work towards a Tasmania where all animals are treated with respect and kindness.
