ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT

CASUAL PART-TIME - DEVONPORT

We require an Animal Care Attendant to work at our Devonport Animal Care Centre to complement our current team of dedicated professionals. We offer a supportive and progressive environment with the ability to further your career in animal welfare.

The primary accountabilities of the role include undertaking a wide range of animal care duties to ensure that high standards of animal welfare are maintained, and dealing with members of the public on animal welfare issues.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Around 2+ years of working in an animal care environment, veterinary clinic, or similar environment.

• Qualifications in animal welfare or veterinary nursing highly regarded.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• The ability to function as an actively contributing member of a team.

• Basic computer literacy (Word, Email).

• A current, clean driver’s licence is essential.

• The ability to work weekends and public holidays as rostered.

• A high degree of physical fitness.
