Volunteers

Volunteers

Volunteers are a crucial part of the successful day-to-day running of the RSPCA, with many thousands of volunteers working across Australia in a huge number of areas. Such a strong volunteer presence reflects community concern for community needs, and ensures a strong culture of animal welfare is maintained through the RSPCA across the country.

At the RSPCA, volunteers are not required to have skills in any particular field, although this, of course, can be useful. The RSPCA recognises people choose to volunteer for many reasons and reliability, commitment and a concern for animal welfare are essential ingredients for an enjoyable volunteer experience at the RSPCA.
