RSPCA Tasmania Pen Pal Sponsorship Program
Pen Pals are generous sponsors of our many kennels and pens who help us provide care and shelter for our charges as they pass through our shelters on the way to their new families.
Arriving at an RSPCA animal welfare shelter can be a frightening and anxious moment for any animal. But it also signals the first step on their journey to a loving, permanent home. The Pen Pal Programme provides sponsorship of an actual adoption pen at one of our 4 shelters for an entire year. Every animal that resides in that kennel will benefit personally from your generous support. And the hundreds of visitors to our shelters each year will know and appreciate your caring support of Tasmania´s homeless animals.
Pen Pal Programme participants will recieve a tax deductible receipt for their sponsorship fee.
Running for a 12 month period renewable with the financial year, there is an RSPCA PEN PAL SPONSORSHIP option to suit everybody's needs. All RSPCA Pen Pals recieve a quarterly e-update and a certificate of appreciation, other levels of sponsorship have different features as listed below.
Corporate Pen Pals
Corporate sponsors can have their business logo and a message of their choice displayed on their pen pal sign and on our pen pals web page, they will receive recognition in our membership magazine Wombat News and also receive a copy every quarter for their staffroom. They will also receive invitations to RSPCA Tasmania special events and the oportunity to participate in promotions.
RSPCA and Pen Pals
Dog and cat pen sponsors can choose a sign with the wording of their choice to be displayed on a plaque at the shelter of their choice (Cats only at Burnie Shelter) and they will receive recognition on our pen pals web page.
All Creatures Sponsor
All Creatures sponsors do not sponsor a particular pen, or shelter but contribute to the enrichment of all shelter animals on an as needed basis across the State. Projects such as building rabbit adoption enclosures, repairing water troughs, bird aivary enrichment and livestock clipping are just a few of the many things the All Creatures Program will support.
Prosecution Partners
For those with a special interest in the Society's Inspectorate Services there is also the Prosecution Partners program where the sponsorship is used for the benefit of animals cared for by the society whilst awaiting legal proceedings against their owners. Often in a neglected state, inspectorate animals can be with the society for an indeterminate amount of time while the legal process takes it´s course. Prosecution Partners funds contribute to the care and rehabilitation of inspectorate animals until court proceedings are finalised. Perhaps those that need our support the most, the inspectorate animals can not be publicly identified, therefore a pen recognition plaque is not an option for this sponsorship level.
