7AD Pet of the Week
Introducing .... Lizzy and Pepper
Lizzy and Pepper are the best of friends and as you can see, these two bundles of fluff are right off the scale when it comes to the Cute-o-Meter. But let´s face it, there´s very little that can out-cute a kitten and these two have all the necessary requirements - those big bright eyes, compact little bodies and sweet little faces with whiskers all a-quiver.
Lizzy with her sleek and glorious black coat and characteristic tuft of white under her chin is the older of the two, but not by much. She´s just 12 weeks with a purr like a V8 outboard. Like all kittens she´s extremely playful, but tempers that natural youthful exuberence with true and genuine affection. There is a school of thought which states some feline personality traits can be linked genetically to coat colour. If this is indeed the case, Lizzy is going to be a sweet and kind cat with loads of personality - a cat who´ll simply love sharing your space with you. Just being in your presence will be enough for her. She will give you her all.
Lizzy´s roommate Pepper is slightly more petite, but then she is just ten weeks old. Imagine only having been on this earth for ten weeks … that´s less than three months. Where were you three months ago??? Pepper hadn´t even come into existence yet, and when she did, she was unloved and unwanted. How must that feel? To arrive in this world only to realise no one cares for you.
Fortunately for Pepper the wonderful staff at RSPCA Devonport are on hand now to ensure she gets all the love she needs and, of course, she has her BFF Lizzy on hand to show her the ropes.
This black and white beauty is already giving hints about the stunning adult cat she´s going to grow up to be. Rest assured within that little feline body beats the true and loyal heart of a lifelong companion.
Both of these lovely ladies really deserve homes which will show them how wonderful the world can be - a home where their ongoing trust and faith will be treasured. Their constant and unwavering affection, even after so much adversity, should be rewarded with the very best life has to offer, so if you have room in your heart and in your home for Lizzy and Pepper, you can visit them at RSPCA Devonport, Tarleton Road, Spreyton or call 6427 2566.
